Regardless of how often your equipment is used; it is essential that all items are routinely serviced and inspected to maintain manufacturer warranties and ensure maximum safety and reliability.  Surprisingly, equipment used only seasonally are often more susceptible to excessive wear and demands servicing prior to use after a period of non-use (such as over a winter period).

Our in-house service department provide timely and factory authorised servicing and repairs of all major brands of regulators and BCD’s whilst through our relationship with reputable cylinder testing stations, we offer a hydrostatic testing, visual plus inspections (applicable only to aluminium cylinders) as well as oxygen cleaning and certification required for use with EAN Nitrox gas blending of both steel and aluminium dive cylinders of all sizes and configurations.

The team at Snorkel Safari highly recommend having all equipment inspected and serviced annually or every 50 dives if you are a frequent diver to guarantee the highest performance and reliability. Regulator Servicing

metro DIVE service all major and many other brands and models of regulators in-house at our purpose built workshop ensuring the highest workmanship and quick turnaround times. Out technicians are trained, certified and authorised to perform all levels of servicing and repairs on brands including Aqualung, Apeks, Sherwood, Mares, Scubapro, Oceanic, Zeagle to name only a few.

BCD Servicing

Often the forgotten ugly sister to the regulator, a BCD or wing set although relatively simple in construction is highly susceptible to wear and tear particularly when not always cleaned meticulously or stored correctly over extended periods of time. metro DIVE offer a range of services; from fault finding and rectification to annual servicing and pre-sale overhauls of almost all makes and models of BCD.

Annual Tank Testing

Annual testing and certification of SCUBA cylinders is a requirement under Australian Standards and current proof of testing required by all dive centres and fill stations when obtaining gas refills.
